St. Bartholomae 3, Schoenau am Koenigssee
Tip 1: The parking machine only takes small change: therefore make sure you have 5 euros with you. Tip 2: If you want to take pictures of the church on the boat on the way there, sit on the right side. The inside of the church itself is not so great. So drive through it calmly and spend more time on the Obersee. You will experience goosebumps when you hear the echo of the trumpeter in the middle of the lake. Sooo nice.
Nice place, ships go regularly, nice surroundings.
A must when you are here. The view is awesome. There are various hiking trails for hiking. You can also take a boat trip across the lake. Afterwards there are also opportunities to eat here. We had really good weather
Gorgeous mountain lake with excellent hiking trails. The boat ride was necessary and as is usually the case the company doesn't need to try very hard. It gets extremely busy so I would highly suggest getting there early and riding to the end point at Salet first. Then stop at St. Bartholoma on the way back. Stop in for a brew and a bite at the beer garden by the church.
Perfect place.
!! CAUTION RIP OFF !! Police are constantly running around and rip off tourists! You immediately write to everyone who, despite the ticket, is standing in the parking lot for more than a minute. It is a pity if tourists bring money to the village in this way. One can only hope that the Bavarian police state will think of something other than writing down cars to make money ...
Is a wonderful lake that is visited by excursion boats during the season, everything around the Königssee is ideal for hikers and lovers of nature photography.
Pleasant relax
We were impressed! Can recommend everyone to visit this place!
Beautiful! It is almost like an artistic picture. Unfortunately there is no specific area to swim
A very nice place to relax and the view is just WOW! On the top of the 1800m mountain the Königssee looks really tiny, but if you drive it with a boat, it is huge!
Wow, just wow. First day here not directly visited the Königssee, but a mega hike in an environment that takes your breath away in any direction.

Very cool but huge crowd season. I got on board this morning in time but by 11 am the line is snaking !!
Wonderful blue, super clear water in the middle of mountains. Super nice old boathouses with electric boats. Worth seeing in every season.
It was beautiful on this day
I loved this one, boat trip. Bad side is paying only with cash in restaurants (didn't expect that). Really nice to see. Make sure to have enough cash to enjoy it totally (I was hungry 😂😂😂)
Beautiful lake, you have to have been!
The Königssee is truly royal. With its location, picturesquely embedded in the middle of the Berchtesgaden Alps, it fulfills every cliché of a perfectly beautiful landscape. Here, the heart simply beats higher. Of course, such a special place is also a magnet for many visitors, since it is good and accessible to almost everyone. Parking is sufficient and the fee is limited. With a boat trip to the church of St. Bartholomew you can round off the trip to paradise. Ticket for one way costs € 8.50 and is still recommended.
Beautiful place
Very nice place. Many hiking possibilities. I was in June in Schönau am Königsee and recommend further.
Amazing place!
Always great and something new to discover. Attention dog owners !!!! If you want to take your WauWau with you should definitely take a muzzle, because it will be admitted on the boat only dogs with muzzle. Please also take enough sachets for the legacies. Highly recommended is the Eisbach, is about 15 minutes from the beer garden, the water has only a few degrees and tasted really delicious.
A nice place to stay. A lot of tourists are out there but still nice. We would also like to have driven a boat, but dogs are only allowed to muzzle the ships and we do not do that to them
Hammer scenery. Is a lot to experience, when the change is right.
The ride on the electric ship back to St. Bartholomä is a classic and brings you to a humble setting that is rightly protected. Already 50 years ago, I listened to the trumpet sounds, which were echoed back from the steep walls. The landscape is magnificent and the approximately 200m deep lake, framed by rocks unique.
Nice clear watter, little cold in May.
Beautiful view!
